Ten young netballers from across the nation have been selected to attend a national training camp for elite young athletes across a range of sports, at Loughborough University from 18th - 21st December and one of those, Claire Brown is from the North East Region.

The Coalfields Regeneration Trust (CRT) is an independent grant making organisation established in 1999 to improve the quality of life for people living in Britain’s coalfield communities.
CRT award grants and invest in programmes of work that make a difference to communities facing significant challenges as a result of the decline of the coal mining industry. Since 1999 the Trust has invested over £200 million in these communities. They currently have funding available to support activity up to 31st March 2013
