The event was in recognition of both squads earning a place as North-East representatives in their respective Club National Finals.
The U16 finals were held earlier in the month and the girls finished 11th in the Country; the best result the club has ever achieved.
Meanwhile the younger group will be travelling down to Essex at the end of the month to compete against 17 of the best young sides in the country with the hope of emulating their older club mates.
"I had a lovely evening with a group of young girls who have done fantastic things for the whole region" said Cllr Forster. "They are a credit to their parents, coaches and their club. I would like to wish Grangetown every success and urge everyone in Redcar & Cleveland to get behind the club".
